CANCELLATION POLICY DURING COVID
In these uncertain and unprecedented times, a booking cancellation is difficult for all.
The Cat Hotel’s usual cancellation policy is that in the event of cancellation a fee will become payable as follows:-
If less than 7 days’ notice the full fee will be payable
14 days’ notice, 50% of the booking fee is payable
More than 14 days’ notice 25% or a nominal amount compensatory will be payable at the Cattery’s discretion.
To assist with the Covid uncertainty and to offer some leeway for cancellations at short notice, we will reduce the timeframes as follows:-
If less than 5 days’ notice the full fee will be payable
10 days’ notice, 50% of the booking fee is payable
We do appreciate the current situation is ever changing and evolving and cancellation may be totally beyond your control. We will therefore try to be flexible and sympathetic but would like to remind customers that the booking fee contributes towards all running costs, all year round pen maintenance, overheads, such as Insurance, Licence fee, Data Protection registration, casual staff and salaries, repair and replacement of equipment, supply of food and litter etc.
ALL of which still need to be paid in the absence of income.
Any cancellation fee or deposit retention could hopefully be offset in full or in part against re-arranged dates or future bookings within a reasonable timeframe.
Retaining your custom and goodwill is of paramount importance to us, but we would ask for your forbearance to please help us to help you still have a Cattery when you need us.
